Unveiling the Unknown King


"Destiny calls your name. The angel of the Lord is exact. His timing is perfect; his words are powerful; his presence calls you out."

Phillip Fields teaches out of the book of Isaiah 9:6-7.

"For to us a child is born, to us, a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the greatness of his government and peace, there will be no end.

He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.

The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this."

The tiny town of Bethlehem was the most unlikely dwelling place for royalty.

Kings were born in Jerusalem the city known for its prestigious temple

But God always chooses the simple things to challenge our pride.

God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise.

God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty.

What was God's plan?

No one knew of the birth of Jesus until God launched his plan to bring salvation to Earth.

God was sending His son into the world as a man born to a woman.

He started his plan thousands of years before it happened.

The messiah needed to be born of the royal line of David, but how?

The bloodline of David was cursed, evil, and disappearing.

Who was heir to the throne?

Joseph, Husband of Mary. He was so nameless and undistinguished that his wife’s name appears in Scripture to give him a credible identity.

When an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream in Matthew 1:20-21, the angel address is Joseph Joseph son of David.

But Joseph sees himself as this poor working-class man who is anything but the Son of David.

Joseph is a king but he doesn’t know it.

Joseph is royalty But he living like a peasant.

He has no clue that he is a king and Who is the father of the king of kings
